CONTENTS: Telescopic Antenna + Tripod Hub + Three Tripod Legs + Instruction Sheet. FEATURES: GROUND TERMINAL LUGS: Two terminal connections for optional ground radial sets. Strong aluminum frame. OPERATION: The SuperScanR Antenna can be positioned away from the scanner using a Coaxial Cable (sold separately). Instantly deploy your antenna for Police actions, Emergencies, severe weather operations or disasters. The strong aluminum tripod is collapsible for transporting or stowing away until needed.
COMPATIBILITY: Fully compatible with all scanners that have capability to connect an external antenna. DEPLOYMENT: Deploys in 3 minutes by one person with no tools needed. COAXIAL CONNECTOR: Type SO-239 female (PL-259 compatible) with 50 ohm standard impedance (common to all scanners). FITTINGS: Antenna structural fittings are industry standard 3/8″-24 female thread. TRIPOD LEGS: Each leg has male 3/8″-24 threads on one end and a polymer black cap foot on the other end, and attaches to the tripod hub. TRIPOD HUB: The hub is milled from a solid block of aircraft grade aluminum, and has three 3/8″-24 holes to interface with the removable tripod legs. RADIAL TERMINALS: Two standard quarter-inch (6mm) male push-on male tabs provide secure quick disconnect for matching SuperWire Radial Sets and ground lugs to the mount hub.
